š Help more teachers feel successful (and win $200)

This message is sponsored by Vivi.
When it comes to teaching, confidence is important. We educators do our best work and feel most fulfilled when we see success ā and when we feel successful.
Vivi is collecting data about what makes teachers feel successful so they can put it in the hands of leaders to help change schools.
We need your help ā and you can win a $200 Amazon gift card!
Complete a short, anonymous survey (5-10 minutes) with your definition of success, what makes you feel successful, and how you navigate the struggles of being an educator. Now in its second year, the Vivi Global Teacher Insights Survey brings together aggregated feedback from teachers around the world to help school and system leaders better understand how to support educators.
It's a safe way to share whatās really working ā and whatās not. (And think of what you could buy with a $200 Amazon gift card!)

ā¤ļø Sing about LOVE!

š„ Video Link: Love: Storybots Feelings & Emotions Songs for Kids
Love is such a happy feeling, tender, warm and so appealing! Kids can learn more about the emotion of love with the StoryBots
Key points in the video:
šµ Theme: The video teaches young children about the emotion of love through a fun, catchy StoryBots song designed to explain what love feels like and how it shows up in everyday life.
š¤ Core Message: Love isnāt just a word ā itās a feeling that makes you feel warm, buzzy, and happy inside, and it shows itself when you care about others (friends, family, pets, etc.).
š Visual Metaphors: Typical StoryBots storytelling visuals may include things like bees loving flowers and friends sharing moments that demonstrate affectionate feelings toward one another.
š Examples of Love: The song likely highlights different ways children can recognize and express love ā through sharing, hugging, helping out, appreciating family, and treasuring favorite activities or people.
5 ways to extend the video with your class:
š§ 1. Feelings Chart Reflection
After watching, show a simple feelings chart (happy, sad, excited, loved, etc.).
Ask students to point to or place a sticky note on the face that shows how the video made them feel.
Prompt discussion with questions like āWhat in the video made you feel that way?ā
š 2. Love Notes for a Friend
Give students small cards or paper hearts.
Have them write or draw a love note for a classmate, family member, or friend explaining why they care about that person.
Share in a circle (voluntarily) to practice expressive language and kindness.
š 3. Role-Play Feelings
In small groups, students act out short scenarios (e.g., helping a friend, sharing a toy, comforting someone whoās sad).
Class guesses what feeling each scenario shows.
Reinforces recognizing emotions in others and understanding empathy.
šØ 4. āWhat Love Looks Likeā Art
Provide art materials (crayons, markers, collage supplies).
Have students draw a picture of something that shows love (e.g., family hug, pet snuggles, friends playing).
Display the artwork to celebrate diverse expressions of care and affection.
š 5. Story Time Discussion
Read a childrenās book about love or friendship (e.g., The Color of Us or Harold Loves His Blanket).
Afterward, ask students to compare the book to the video: āHow did the characters show love? Is it the same or different from the StoryBots?ā
š¤ Fun Fact
And you deserve them!
